Never shipped

I placed an order for two cat egg powders on May 26, and it’s now June 20. It still hasn’t even shipped. I sent an email yesterday and haven’t received any response. At this point, the lack of communication and the extreme delay are beyond frustrating. It’s honestly outrageous to wait this long with absolutely no update. I’ve never experienced anything like this, and I’m extremely disappointed.

We are so sorry for the delay with your order and for the lack of communication, we completely understand your frustration, and you’re absolutely right to feel disappointed.

We’re a very small team of just two people, balancing this business alongside full-time jobs to help make ends meet. While that’s no excuse for the delay or the lack of updates, we do want to be transparent and let you know that your order was held up due to an unexpected issue in our manufacturing process. The good news is that the issue has now been resolved, and we’re working hard to get your order, and all others, out as soon as possible.

What ingredients are in the supplement?

Simply chicken eggs exposed to cat allergens and our proprietary sugar blend. No fillers or preservatives.

When will my package arrive after placing the order?

**PLEASE NOTE—
Orders will be shipped within 10 business days of when the order is placed. Due to unforeseen manufacturing issues we’re currently experiencing, we cannot expedite the shipping process or ensure an adequately-timed and earlier delivery for subscription orders to prevent running out between months.

How can I access or make edits to my subscription purchase?

Customers who have purchased a subscription can access and edit their customer subscription through the link sent via email. We are in the process of creating a ‘Subscription Portal’ page on our website to streamline the accessibility and editing on customers’ end. If you need help accessing or editing your customer subscription portal, please email us as customerservice@safelinepet.com

How long does it take to feel a reduction in my allergy symptoms?

After around 3 weeks of daily feeding to your cat, you may start to feel relief from your cat allergy symptoms.

What are the directions for feeding my cat the supplement?

Feed it to your cat once a day everyday. Add one scoop (one teaspoon) of the powder supplement into your cat’s wet or dry food and mix thoroughly. Add a little bit of water to the dry food if the powder supplement is not adhering. For kittens under 10 months old, mix in a half scoop (1/2 teaspoon) to their wet/dry food.

Is SaFeline pet’s food topper safe for my cat?

Yes, our product is safe for cats. It's an all-natural, simple formula made with eggs, sugar, and D-mannose (a natural sugar made from cranberries). That's it. No preservatives. No fillers. 100% natural.

How much sugar is in the product?

The sugar is added to protect the allergen-neutralizing proteins in the eggs through the freeze drying process. There is less than 1 gram of sugar in each jar. The sugar is added to protect the proteins in the egg from becoming de-natured during the freeze-drying process. 3% is the recommended sugar limit in a cat's daily diet. Our sugar amount is below this limit while still remaining effective.

What safety and health measures are included in your manufacturing process?

Our farms and operations are based out of Dayton and Roanoke, Virginia. Both co-owners have professional experience in the food service industry and follow all Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP), Virginia Department of Health (VDH), and Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines. SaFeline pet and our farmers follow biosecurity measures, including, but not limited to, sanitizing utensils before/after use, using stainless steel surfaces and materials, wearing PPE, and minimizing cross-contamination.
